Folded like origami, poured like honey. Our Geometric Ball Candle is a little golden sphere covered in crisp diamond facets that catch the light from every angle, so it looks sharp and modern even before you light it. Hand-poured in pure beeswax by us, the beekeepers based in Montreal, it brings a touch of contemporary style to a shelf, a coffee table or a holiday centrepiece.

Pair it with our Flower Ball and Small Spiral candles for a pretty little trio, or give it on its own to someone with great taste. Lit, it glows warm and golden with a soft honey scent.

Sharp looks, smarter wax: This little sphere is 88 g of pure beeswax. Beeswax melts at a higher temperature than soy wax, so it burns more slowly and those facets last longer. The flame is brighter and more golden, and the scent is pure, natural honey, compared with soy wax, which smells of very little by itself.

What is the Geometric Ball candle made of?

100% pure beeswax. That's the whole list. No paraffin, no added fragrance, no dyes. The golden colour and the soft honey scent come straight from the hive.

What is the white dust on my beeswax candle?

It's called bloom. Pure beeswax naturally grows a thin, whitish haze over time, especially somewhere cool. It's harmless, and it's actually a sign you've got the real thing. To bring back the shine, gently buff the candle with a soft cloth, or warm it for a few seconds with a hair dryer on low until the haze melts away. Bloom can come back, and you can repeat this as often as you like. (Some people love the vintage look and leave it!)

Will my candle look exactly like the photo?

Not exactly, and that's part of the charm. Each candle is poured by hand in small batches, and beeswax is famously temperamental. Tiny bubbles, small marks, slight colour differences or little imperfections can happen, so your candle may look a little different from the one in the photo.

How do I burn the Geometric Ball candle safely?

Shaped candles like this one are made to be admired as much as burned. If you light yours, set it on a plate, since the wax will pool as the shape melts down. Trim the wick to about 6 mm before each lighting. Burn on a heat-safe plate, away from drafts, and never leave a lit candle unattended or within reach of children and pets.

What's the difference between beeswax and paraffin candles?

Paraffin is made from petroleum, while beeswax is made by honeybees. Beeswax candles burn more slowly, with a bright, warm flame, and they carry a natural honey scent without any added fragrance. Ours are 100% pure beeswax, with no paraffin blended in.
