The tiniest tree on the block. Our Christmas Tree Candle is a little golden fir with layer upon layer of frosty-looking branches, standing proud and ready for the holidays. Hand-poured in pure beeswax by us, the beekeepers based in Montreal, it's the easiest bit of festive cheer you'll buy all season.
It comes in a sweet organza gift pouch, so it's ready to tuck into a stocking, set at each place on the holiday table, or hang from a gift as a little extra. Line up a few for a mini forest on the mantel. Lit, it glows warm and golden with a soft honey scent.
Why beeswax beats soy this holiday season: Beeswax melts at a higher temperature than soy wax, so your little 22 g tree burns more slowly and lasts longer. Its flame is brighter and more golden, perfect for a cozy December evening, and it smells softly of honey, while soy wax has almost no scent of its own.
What is the Christmas Tree candle made of?
What is the Christmas Tree candle made of?
100% pure beeswax. That's the whole list. No paraffin, no added fragrance, no dyes. The golden colour and the soft honey scent come straight from the hive.
What is the white dust on my beeswax candle?
What is the white dust on my beeswax candle?
It's called bloom. Pure beeswax naturally grows a thin, whitish haze over time, especially somewhere cool. It's harmless, and it's actually a sign you've got the real thing. To bring back the shine, gently buff the candle with a soft cloth, or warm it for a few seconds with a hair dryer on low until the haze melts away. Bloom can come back, and you can repeat this as often as you like. (Some people love the vintage look and leave it!)
Will my candle look exactly like the photo?
Will my candle look exactly like the photo?
Not exactly, and that's part of the charm. Each candle is poured by hand in small batches, and beeswax is famously temperamental. Tiny bubbles, small marks, slight colour differences or little imperfections can happen, so your candle may look a little different from the one in the photo.
How do I burn the Christmas Tree candle safely?
How do I burn the Christmas Tree candle safely?
Shaped candles like this one are made to be admired as much as burned. If you light yours, set it on a plate, since the wax will pool as the shape melts down. Trim the wick to about 6 mm before each lighting. Burn on a heat-safe plate, away from drafts, and never leave a lit candle unattended or within reach of children and pets.
Does the Christmas Tree candle come gift wrapped?
Does the Christmas Tree candle come gift wrapped?
Yes, it comes in a cream organza gift pouch, so it's ready to give as is. Drop it in a stocking, set one at each place on the holiday table, or tie it onto a present as a little extra.
